On August 29, 2023, the 6th China International New Materials Industry Expo grandly opened in Harbin, co-hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province.
As a leading enterprise in the new materials field, Hainan SN was honored to participate in the expo, showcasing its innovative products, including polylactic acid (PLA) high-barrier food packaging bags, PLA self-modified atmosphere packaging, PLA heat-sealing double shrink film, PLA visual splice paper, various PLA products, and the Near-Infrared Plastic Rapid Detector, known as the “Best Helper” in plastic restriction efforts. These exhibits attracted significant attention from attendees.
At the expo, Hainan SN highlighted its innovative achievements in the new materials sector, demonstrating the perfect integration of environmental protection and technology. The development of fully biodegradable modified materials showcased the company's commitment to sustainable development. This material not only possesses the performance characteristics of traditional materials but also degrades quickly after use, making a positive contribution to environmental protection. It also enriches the application fields of eco-friendly materials, injecting new vitality into the industry's sustainable development.
The Near-Infrared Plastic Rapid Detector, exhibited by Hainan SN, also became a focal point at the event. This device, which has received certification as the first of its kind in Hainan Province, uses near-infrared technology to rapidly and accurately identify the composition of plastic materials within 5 seconds. It efficiently assists law enforcement agencies in inspecting non-degradable plastic products, greatly enhancing their overall enforcement capabilities and efficiency.
