From September 29 to 30, 2021, an audit team from Zhongxiang International Certification and Testing (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. conducted the first audit of Hainan SN Industrial Co., Ltd.'s ISO 28000 Supply Chain Security Management System. Following two stages of online remote and on-site certification audits, the audit team decided to directly recommend the certification, marking SN’s successful passing of the ISO 28000 Supply Chain Security Management System audit.

The ultimate goal of the ISO 28000 Supply Chain Security Management System is to improve the overall security of the factory's supply chain. ISO 28000 defines the supply chain as “a set of interrelated resources and processes, starting with the procurement of raw materials and delivering products or services to the end-user through various transportation methods. The supply chain includes suppliers, manufacturing facilities, logistics providers, internal distribution centers, distributors, wholesalers, and other entities that connect to the end-user.”

During the audit, the auditors focused on verifying risk assessments and emergency plans in the business departments, fire safety management in the warehousing department, cargo management, and related documentation. Through on-site questioning and record checks, they determined that the company's supply chain security management system, after six months of trial operation, was in a positive cycle, meeting the requirements of ISO 28000 in terms of conformity, adequacy, and effectiveness.

The audit experts concluded that SN’s leadership places a high priority on supply chain security management. The departments responsible for system implementation have done a great deal of effective work, building a solid foundation for the company's supply chain security management system by establishing a comprehensive document and metric structure. The company's supply chain security management system meets the requirements of ISO 28000:2007 "Specification for Supply Chain Security Management Systems," and its operation is sound, leading to approval for the certification.
